D4H Launches Asia Pacific Data Jurisdiction in Sydney

From today, D4H products will have the option to be hosted from our new segregated data hosting jurisdiction with Amazon Web Services in Sydney, Australia. Earlier in the week, we welcomed our first accounts on the infrastructure, a State Police Force in Australia and a regional council in New Zealand.

This brings our Asia Pacific offering up to global performance par with our other data jurisdiction options in the United States, Canada, and the European Union. It adds encryption at rest, database mirroring and real-time hot-standby failovers.

With our jurisdiction-specific options, data will be solely stored in the jurisdiction, identical to the other AWS sites that D4H has around the world.
