🚨 Critical Alerts, Live Location, and Mobile Inbox
Big news from D4H! Our Incident Management mobile app is evolving into something even more powerful as the Operations Center – your all-in-one platform for managing emergencies and alerts in real-time!
With this update, we’re bringing together both D4H Incident Management and D4H Alerting into a single, seamless experience. Your new home screen now prominently features your organization's logo and a live preview of active incidents – and this is just the beginning! More panels will be added throughout the year to make this your ultimate operations hub.
We’ve introduced a brand-new Inbox feature! This keeps all your alerts, mentions, and notifications in one place. Get instantly redirected to the incident when you’re mentioned, or reply to an alert with just a tap. Navigating the app is now faster than ever! A new navigation bar along the bottom lets you switch between Incidents and your Inbox instantly. Plus, any unread messages or alerts are clearly highlighted with a red dot.
We've also integrated this into the desktop alerting.
For D4H Alerting, we’ve added two new push notification channels. A standard push notification and a Critical Alert that overrides ‘Do Not Disturb’ with an alarm sound – ensuring you never miss an emergency! Watch our video to hear the noise.
Here’s a game-changer – our beta release of Live Location Sharing! You can now opt-in to share your GPS location in real-time on the D4H Incident Management map, helping teams coordinate faster and respond smarter. This should be switched-on in the Admin Area under Preferences - Maps. Additional location functionality such as a track-logs are coming as a paid add-on at the end of the beta period. We'd love to hear your feedback on this as we develop our live location roadmap during the Beta.
